TEACHING & ORCHESTRATING

Throughout my career as a conductor, I have often found myself in the position of sharing my knowledge and experience with other musicians.
Over the years, this has taken different forms: from masterclasses and individual work with young conductors, musicians and singers, to the preparation of orchestral material and the orchestration of works and excerpts.
What began, in many cases, as a practical need — providing orchestral material that was difficult to obtain or unavailable for rental — gradually became a broader part of my musical activity.
Teaching and Orchestrating therefore represent two different but closely connected aspects of my work: the sharing of musical knowledge and experience, and the practical work of bringing music to the orchestra.

Nel corso della mia attività di direttore d’orchestra, mi sono spesso trovato nella situazione di condividere le mie conoscenze e la mia esperienza con altri musicisti.
Nel tempo, questo si è concretizzato in forme diverse: dalle masterclass e dal lavoro individuale con giovani direttori, musicisti e cantanti, alla preparazione di materiale orchestrale e all’orchestrazione di brani ed estratti.
Quello che in molti casi era nato da una necessità pratica — preparare materiale orchestrale difficile da reperire o non disponibile aper il noleggio — è gradualmente diventato una parte più ampia della mia attività musicale.
L’Insegnamento e l’Orchestrazione rappresentano quindi due aspetti diversi, ma strettamente collegati del mio lavoro: la condivisione di conoscenze ed esperienze musicali e il lavoro pratico di portare la musica all’orchestra.
